I agree with more advance downtime notice for things that are during "normal
business hours" where the impact is going to be larger, but 2 business days is
not something I'm willing to commit to. A portion of my infrastructure
work (historically) comes at times when I can squeeze it in, in yesterday's
case it was while I was waiting for cookies to bake :p

I will start a follow-up thread on defining more regularly scheduledmaintenance
windows where I can fit outages into.


All that said, taking JIRA offline at Saturday at midnight (UTC) for 10 minutes,
17:00 (PST) is probably the least impactful downtime window one can possibly
find :-P
