I am a Jenkins user and am trying to create an internal mirror of the Jenkins redhat-stable Yum repo.
I posted on the Jenkins users mailing list originally:
If you read this thread you will see that there is clearly an issue with the way the Jenkins Yum repo is architected and is causing issues for anyone who tries to mirror its entire contents...
The problem is it's impossible to download packages from archives.jenkins-ci.org...
Try to download this file, it will never finish... : http://archives.jenkins-ci.org/redhat-stable/jenkins-1.424.2-1.1.noarch.rpm
Please fix this if you are able to. If I am contacting the wrong group please let me know so I can send my request to the correct place.

Subject: Please remove archived packages from main yum repo mirror
Please reference this post for more details: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/jenkinsci-users/V3zvIVwrHWA<https://groups.google.com/forum/#%21topic/jenkinsci-users/V3zvIVwrHWA>
The archived packages stored on archives.jenkins-ci.org<http://archives.jenkins-ci.org> should be removed from the main yum repo for the Jenkins-ci project and/or moved to a separate archived repo.
These packages appear to be hosted separately from the rest of the packages which are hosted from mirrors.jenkins-ci.org<http://mirrors.jenkins-ci.org> and this is causing issues when I attempt to mirror the entire yum repo...
Is there any reason for your repo to be set up this way?
