[Jenkins-infra] [backend-update-center2] update nexus-indexer?

Hi,

We're using backend-update-center2 for several years to provide a private Jenkins mirror in our company network (great job so far!).
The Jenkins mirror is running on Sonatype Nexus (2.14 at the moment). We recently introduced Sonatype Nexus 3 and ran into the problem, that backend-update-center2 fails reading the nexus-maven-repository-index.gz provided by Nexus 3 (org.sonatype.nexus.index.context.UnsupportedExistingLuceneIndexException).

Is there a chance, that backend-update-center2 will be able to read the newer index in near future?
