Hi Marcin,
Thank for the proposition, help is always appreciated and I hope you can
find something funny to do.They are a lot of different areas and technologies on the infra so it
depends on your interest.
>From an infra point of view, main topics are:

Provisionning for azure with Terraform:
https://github.com/jenkins-infra/azureSystem Configuration Managemement with Puppet and Kubernetes :
https://github.com/jenkins-infra/jenkins-infraAnd we use docker to package applications.

Almost everything is located on a git repository, so it usually end by
doing a grep on the right repository, commit your change, open a PR and
ask for a review.
You can find a non exhaustive list of issues here
https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/secure/RapidBoard.jspa?rapidView=416
As a first approach, I selected the following one which requires
apache/nginx skill and can be easily reproduced in your local
environment.
1) INFRA-1647
2) INFRA-884
3) NFRA-564

Feel free to ask any question, we sync every Monday on Hangeout ->
https://jenkins.io/event-calendar/
Cheers
