<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_extra"><div class="gmail_quote"><div>Awesome, when I'm on a more stable Internet connection I'll get on IRC and ding you.</div><div><br></div><div>Do we have a staging tier to test upgrades and stuff like that?</div>
<div><br></div><div>How is this stuff backed up?</div><div><br></div><div>thx!</div><div> <br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div class="">
<br>
</div>I would love help on this :) JIRA and Confluence are the bane of my existence!<br>
<br>
The biggest impediment to upgrading is that we do not have very effective<br>
Puppet code to manage either JIRA or Confluence. This is a pretty big gap in<br>
our ability to effectively manage those services.<br>
<br>
<br>
We've got hardware ready to move JIRA to, which will help some of our existing<br>
stability problems but without proper Puppet code, I'm terrified to make the<br>
changes on such a crucial service.<br>
<br>
<br>
New services are being managed and deployed through this Puppet repo: <<a href="https://github.com/jenkins-infra/jenkins-infra" target="_blank">https://github.com/jenkins-infra/jenkins-infra</a>><br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
You can join us on #jenkins-infra and discuss this more in real time if you'd<br>
like. Any help you're willing to offer I'm open to :)<br>
