[Jenkins-infra] Environmental ruby problems

Hi List,

being a good conference attendee I directly followed Kohukes call to 
have a look at the jenkins-infra Github to see if I can help.
Unfortunately I ran into a problem while setting up the environment, the 
install of the vagrant serverspec plugin fails, complaining that
rspec-expectations requires diff-lcs (< 2.0, >= 1.1.3)
According to stackvoverflow I'm not the only one with this problem, yet 
wasn't successful in resolving it.
So before I get completely lost in the gem-version-hell: Did anyone here 
experience the same problem?
