I suggest spending some time getting familiar with the basic Puppet concepts
and language. There's some good content here <http://docs.puppetlabs.com/learning/>



After that, figuring out how you want to contribute would be useful. Interested
in deploying applications with Docker? Monitoring and alerting? Basic service
management with Puppet? Backups and data management? There's so much to be
done! :)



We're also hanging out on the #jenkins-infra IRC channel, usually during the
morning (european time) and during the business day (US time).
