This _is_ the more discussion. What is the problem with enabling access for
repositories? Slack is not some random Github App from the Marketplace, it's
supported by GitHub themselves. I don't see any problem with this usage.


I sometimess feel like "this needs more discussion" is used as a way to stop
any change happening (reminds me lots of my last dysfunctional startup job :)).


We can certainly delete the application from the GitHub organization, but I'm
generally in favor of trying out apps like this from reputable sources to
encourage more acvitity in the project.
